finally understood how to convert texcoord to fragcoord that a lot of shadertoy patches use - essential in some buffer feedback/manipulation patches
huge thanks to pandur for needed feedback and explanation
texcoord is simply multiplied by resolution inside the main function to get fragcoordinates
threw the resulting shader onto a sphere and some checked out specular matcap - nothing special
tested on desktop, probably melts
