Example for TimeLineOverwrite Op
Left and right circle both have the same keyframes, but the right circle additionally has a TimeLineOverwrite op in its trigger path.
This way, the left circle just follows its predefined animation whereas the right circle has a skewed local time controlled by a sine op, so it oscillates back and forth along a small range on its timeline.
You can use the TimeLineOverwrite op to fix up local time in subpatches, or to create "time scrubbing" style effects. Anything connected to the trigger output of the op will see the skewed local time.
