After a long break, I decided to play around with 3DGS in cables again. I used ChatGPT Astra + cables standalone to fix the rendering problems I had encountered before.

You can load a .splat or .ply file into the SplatFile op.

The GS model is converted into a set of textures, similar to those used for point clouds. This means you can edit positions, scales, rotations, and colors using ImageCompose nodes.
