Vortex Experiment WIP
I had this idea of a rough sea, a vortex sucking everything into the abyss. This is my approach to do something like that in cables. The shadereffect for the swirl is roughly hacked together, it somehow works, but it is still not perfect. I am making this public so I can get some input on the following:
- The Swirl Shadereffect needs some improvement. I dont know shit about what i was doing, it somehow works, but i would like to get a real vortex feeling, the "water" should endlessly get sucked into the mouseposition.
- The mouse positioning only works from one camera angle. Any idea on how to make it behave correctly from every camera angle?
- The water should look more realistic. Does anyone know a better noise generation method for sea water/waves?
