IRIS is an immersive video-mapping experience and a website designed to raise awareness about the Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar), a protected and endangered species closely linked to the Léguer River in Brittany, France.

Through a three-module interactive journey, visitors follow the salmon’s life cycle: its departure from the river, the dangers faced in the ocean, and its return to the Léguer to reproduce. The visual style is inspired by watercolor and child-like drawing, that emphasizes innocence, fragility, and hope.

The installation combines real environmental data, light interaction, and collective participation. As more visitors take part, more salmon eggs appear at the end of the experience, symbolizing the power of collective awareness in preserving ecosystems.

Our purpose aims to create empathy rather than guilt, using emotion and immersion.
