“Can we let go without reconstructing images of what was, neatly within the frames of what we hoped they could be. Does the goodbye, the explanation, does it change the reality of a connection that is no longer tangible?

Loss is an imaginary cycle. We create lasting images of figures that no longer exist, and what space does this leave to acknowledge the foundations of a severed connection.”

Poster was created using CablesGL, Blender and Max/Gen. 3D mesh shapes and animation are transformed into textures. The texture's color and position vectors are then transformed the custom shader op with gen shader code from max/Jitter using the Gen Code export license from Cycling74, which are then sent back to textures on the original meshes creating a digital feedback loop.
